And here comes fall...

Seasons have once again changed. As we are saying goodbye to the long, hot days of summer and hello to the cooler, colorful days of autumn, I am grateful for these things:

• Amelia is, more often than not, sleeping until 6:30AM
• Our filled-with-life women's group at church
• Old friends...and new ones
• Having renewed, strong "in-love" feelings for my (hot) husband
• Cool breezes on sunny days
• Funny conversations with an even funnier Amelia
• Hearing Lily laugh and having her interested in Baby Einstein for 5 min.
• The aspens getting all golden - quite a sight in Colorado
• Hand-me-down clothes for the girls
• Accidentally finding the perfect pair of shoes
• Having to turn the heat on inside the house and the furnace-running smell
• Lily's little voice saying, "Mom-mee"

And so much more. In both the mundane and extraordinary (see top of the list), I must, must say, I am grateful to God for all these things, for new seasons, and for the arrival of fall.
